Mit Anno II lädt das schwedische Unternehmen Boråstapeter zu einer Reise durch die reiche Tapetengeschichte des Landes ein, die 300 Jahre zurückreicht. Die Kollektion besteht aus 16 Mustern, die alle sorgfältig von Hand gezeichnet und in der Borås Tapetenfabrik mit Leimdrucktechnik hergestellt wurden.

The 18th-century wallpaper Skenninge is the oldest known wallpaper printed in Sweden. Its expressive Baroque pattern, featuring birds, tulips, grapes, and ornaments, resembles gilded leather and has been reinterpreted by Boråstapeter in soft tones of green, rust red, honey yellow, and blue. The pattern is named after Skänninge in Östergötland, one of Sweden’s oldest towns, with roots dating back to the 12th century. Although it originates from the 18th century, the design has a typical Baroque composition—likely because the new Rococo style had not yet reached the countryside outside Skänninge.
